Our modern sitting room and individual seating areas provide cosy, comfortable places to enjoy the company of others, or just relax and spend some leisurely time reading in our well-stocked library which provides the ideal space for some quiet time, or free use of the communal computer with internet access.
Our conservatory-style dining room is spacious and arranged in an informal homely style so that our residents can sit where they choose. Alternatively, residents may wish to dine in their own rooms.
We are lucky to be situated in an extremely leafy and green area of Sheffield, so whether walking through our delightful sensory garden or sitting out on our purpose built patio area, residents have the opportunity to spend time relaxing and socialising in scenic and peaceful surroundings.
Our visiting hairdresser offers weekly appointments in our elegant hair and nail salon, also a beauty therapist is available weekly on request, for manicures or general pampering.
We offer a weekly GP service which is provided by The Hollies Medical Centre, this is to enable residents to discuss any medical needs and review their health and wellbeing.
Other health care professionals available are Dentist, Chiropodist, Physio’s, District Nurses and Optician’s who provide a high standard service to meet our residents requirements and needs.
Each resident has a plan of care which is created from individual care needs, wishes, choice and preferences to deliver a person-centred approach. Keyworkers are assigned to each resident to support all aspects of care and social requirements. Care plans are reviewed along with the residents and their families to record any changes to care needs.
